The rumor filmkollektiv, founded by filmmakers Fabiana Seitz, Stefania Burla and Dorentina Imeri, understands itself as a collective space of exchange, grounded in flat hierarchies and collaborative work. rumor emerged from the need to make room for stories, themes, and perspectives that are still underrepresented today. rumor seeks to reveal what is overlooked and to open up possibilities where they are denied, consciously contributing to closing existing gaps and reflecting in the film landscape the diversity that shapes our society. Rather than reproducing what already exists, rumor aims to deconstruct structures, images, and narratives that exclude or distort. Through diversity, authenticity, and accessibility, rumor turns its attention to the rumbling beneath the surface – making it palpable for everyone.
